The Freestone County Soil & Water Conservation District holds a Conservation Essay Contest annually.
This year’s theme was “Home Is Where The Habitat Is.”
Winners from Dew ISD are:
–1st Place Over All Essay – Tyler Ashton Woodall
–2nd Place Over All Essay – Landon Townsend
Both essays have been submitted to the Texas State Soil & Water Conservation Board Area IV competition to be judged against the other entrees of the 5 Area’s in Texas for TEXAS STATE CONSERVATION ESSAY.
Results for the State Winners will be announced at the end of March.
