EACH YEAR THE FREESTONE COUNTY SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT #424 hosts the Conservation Poster and Essay Contest.
This year our theme was “Healthy Soils are Full of Life”. We are Proud to announce our 2018 Winners.
Each of our local schools participating is recognized with Certificates and Financial Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners of both Essays and Posters; Then the Over All 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winners receive an Additional Financial Award and their entrees are sent to our Area IV Contest.
There are 37 Soil & Water Conservation Districts in Area IV and 217 in the State of Texas.
