The Dew Bulldogs Cross Country team traveled to their first cross country meet on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Malakoff, Texas.
“The boys’ and girls’ team both did very well and competed very hard in each race,” says Coach Terry Potter.
The best finisher on the boy’s side was Aaron Valentin, who placed 20th out of 80 runners. Best girl finisher was Makayla Burns, who finished 57th out of 90 athletes.
“I am so proud of both teams as they ran so hard in such hot weather,” says Coach Potter. “I am excited for our next race in Fairfield on the 15th.”
