The death of a Fairfield man, found deceased with a gunshot wound to the head in his home on South Highway 75 on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 has been officially ruled a suicide.
Judge Cinnamon Archibald, JP-Pct. 3, gave the final ruling following receipt of the autopsy report, which indicated suicide as cause of death for Jonas Powell.
According to Judge Archibald and Fairfield Police Chief Kenny Bulger, this case has been closed.
