Dear Editor,
I am a smoker; however, I have NEVER thrown a lit cigarette out the car window or on the ground.
Friday afternoon at the Post Office, not just one person, but two separate people dumped their full ashtrays in the parking lot. Roughly 30-40 cigarette butts.
Are you that uncaring, irresponsible and lazy? Have you heard of garbage cans at the gas stations?
How about dumping them in the waste basket at your house?
What if one of those butts weren’t completely out and got blown over into the grass causing a fire? Have you thought about that?
How about be a human being and do what’s right. Littering is against the law and that include cigarette butts.
