The Freestone County Courthouse is now only permitting those with “essential” business into the courthouse. If you need to come to the Courthouse, please note that only the South entrance (main entrance facing Highway 84) is the only entrance unlocked.
Our Security Officer, Larry Jones, will gladly assist those who need to enter through the wheel chair accessible ramp on the north side.
Judge Evans has asserted that if anyone has a non-contested (agreed) matter on the docket for Monday, April 20, 2020, she will hear that matter via Zoom. Otherwise, all matters will be reset for a later time as previously indicated.
