Three-week course begins Monday, Feb. 13th

Coping 2 Control is a program for people with Type 2 Diabetes. Participants will know the “3 Things to Know About Diabetes, Distress, and Depression”. Coping to Control is a three-week course geared toward empowering and equipping individuals with type 2 diabetes to effectively deal with stress and negative emotions. Successful coping with negative emotions is a recommended strategy to enhance diabetes self- management and quality of life.

This 3-session class will be held every Monday beginning February 13th through February 27th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McLennan County Extension Office located at 4224 Cobbs Dr., Waco, TX 76710.
