WHAT: Cooking Well with Diabetes, 4-Lesson Cooking School

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is hosting the “Cooking Well with Diabetes” series of classes at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, McLennan County located at 4224 Cobbs Drive, Waco Texas 76710. Instructor will be Colleen Foleen, CEA FCH.

Classes will be held on Thursday, August 4th – August 25th, 2022 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

The goal of the program is to help those living with diabetes, family members, or those just wanting to learn, how to make changes to the foods we eat and how they are prepared. The four-lesson series examines carbohydrates, meal planning, and reducing fat and sodium while still maintaining flavorful dishes.
