Freestone County Commissioners voted to approve several contracts for services, as well as accepting bids for equipment and materials at their regularly scheduled meeting held Wednesday, June 6, 2017.
Items approved during this meeting include:
–Minutes from previous meeting
–Budget amendments and transfers
–Acceptance of reports from County offices
–Appointing new members for the Sick Leave Pool Board
–Acceptance of a $1,755 bid for the sale of a shredder from Precinct 3
–Maintenance Agreement with Fairfield Air for HVAC services
–Acceptance of bids for materials used in Road & Bridge repair
–Disposal of an ice machine from Precinct 1
Commissioner Craig Oakes was not in attendance at this meeting.
Regularly scheduled meetings for Commissioners Court are on the first and third Wednesday of each month, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the second floor of the courthouse.
