Very much an Emmons family affair, the Armadillo Emporium has been selected as Business of the Month for December by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

Visitors are welcomed to “Come Dig Our Stuff” as they browse several local vendor booths in the historic Parker building on the courthouse square in downtown Fairfield, Texas.

Opening their doors on Tuesdays through Saturdays, siblings, Julee and Andy, are often assisted by their mom, Linda Emmons.

First opened in 2012, the Armadillo Emporium offers antiques, collectibles, vintage toys, reclaimed furniture, yard art, spirit wear, boutique clothing, jewelry, and more. This is a great place for those who love collecting antiques, just like the ones you can get from this Online Antique Appraisal website.

This Fairfield establishment recently celebrated their fifth anniversary.

Offering the latest in accessory trends, Juls by Jul began in the 1990’s when Julee created handcrafted jewelry while pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising.  Her beautiful pieces have been displayed in the northeast corner of the Parker building, even before the Emporium began.

Contemporary Folk Artist, Andy Emmons, offers painting classes several times a month.  Sign up for the next class on Tuesday, January 9th. Cost is $30 for adults and $20 for children under 12 years.

Andy’s booth features funky artwork and vintage collectibles.

Linda’s Gifts, operated by the Emmons matriarch, offers beautiful home décor.

Armadillo Emporium is located 101 W. Commerce Street.  Facebook users are invited to like their page.

The Juls by Jul collections may now be found online.  Visit them at www.julsbyjul.com
