The holiday season is here, complete with kids not going to school and different agencies and schools not being open.
Thanksgiving week will see all five Freestone County schools closed the entire week of Thanksgiving. Schools will close Monday, November 25 with classes resuming December 2nd, 2019.
Banks will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. State and Freestone County offices will close Thanksgiving Day and the day after.
The City of Fairfield, the City of Teague, and the City of Wortham will each be closed Thanksgiving day and the day after. The City of Streetman will only be open Monday and Wednesday as per usual.
Brookshire Brothers in Fairfield and Teague will be closing at 2:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
