Clinton L. Myers of Streetman, Texas passed away at his home on Friday evening April 12, 2019 at the age of 84. He was born in Attala County, Mississippi on July 17, 1934 to George Washington Myers and Sara Elizabeth Smith Myers.
Clinton was a member of the Masonic Lodge Albert J. DeLange #1403. He retired from his own business as a welder / fabricator producing equipment for the petroleum industry.
He and his wife Gladys retired to Streetman 21 years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Gladys Marie Alexander Myers. Children; Dwight L. Myers and wife Jeannine, Tim L. Myers and wife Susan and Teresa M. Addison. Grandchildren; Jeanette Martin and husband Justin, Sara Myers, Dwayne Myers and wife Ashley, Cody Myers and wife LeeAnne and Lauren Addison. Great grandchildren; Braxton Martin, Preslee Martin, Payton Martin, Ellis Myers, Kylie Rose Myers, Lacey Myers and Cannon Myers.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Griffin – Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Griffin – Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield with Bro. Alan Grisham officiating from First Baptist Church in Buffalo. Burial will follow at Birdston Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cody Myers, Dwayne Myers, Justin Martin, Carlos Varges, Jerry Dixon and Jim Riley. Honorary pallbearers will be C.L. (Se-Be) Myers and J.W. Myers. Family members are using Patty’s Petal’s Florist in Buffalo.
