Ever wonder what the difference between a cleanse and detox is?

A cleanse is when you CLEAN out your systems.  That will include your digestion and respiratory.   During a cleanse, you eat clean and you eat what is beneficial for you versus the normal regimen.   Great foods for a cleanse include a high alkaline raw vegetable diet.  This adds the proper nutrition while still allowing your body to flush out the bad out of your system.  The digestion is the biggest area to cleanse because our guts are filled with stuff that are not good for us and the foundation of either health or disease.

A detox is when you remove toxins out of your body.  Toxins are more complicated to remove than the bad things you eat.  Toxins can cause destruction to all organs and that is why it is so important to remove all of the toxins.   Toxins come from everywhere.  You breathe in toxic air, your electricity gives off toxins, your Bluetooth gives off toxins, your satellite gives off toxins.  Detoxing takes a specified protocol to remove toxins.   I like to include teas, water, veggies, fruits, and some special herbs.

Detoxing should be done at least once a month and a cleanse should be done regularly.  I have some people that cleanse once a week or even a few days every other week.

If our bodies are unclean or toxic, we cannot fight off sickness and disease.  Instead we harbor them and give them a place to grow and feed.   In the midst of the pandemic, we know the importance of keeping clean and sanitized but the outside is not the only part that matters.   Time to detox and cleanse for optimal health and wholeness!
