Springtime is here in Freestone County, not even COVID-19 can stop spring, which brings spring-cleaning inside your home and outside in your yard.
Normally each city has their own special clean up day, but this year that just is not a possibility.
So, new ideas and plans have been put into action.
Fairfield
Residents may take their water bill to the City Dump, and receive free access.
Teague
The City arranged roll off dumpsters last weekend for their residents, and arranged a limb drop off location.
Wortham
On Saturday, May 2, 2020, there will be four roll off dumpsters available for residents. They will have two located by the police department, one behind the dollar store and another by the old Bank Building.
Social Distancing may have changed the normal plans, but each City worked out a way to help their citizens clean up.
