Candidates still have an opportunity to file in at least one local election.

Although the normal filing period closed last week, for school and city elections, Teague ISD has a special situation in play this year.

Place 3 incumbent, Wayne Williams, entered into an unexpired term, so a special election is in order for this position.

With special election dates, candidates have until March 5th to file for this slot.

Filing period has closed for all other School District and Municipalities.

Elections are set for May 5, 2018.
