Voters are invited to attend a Candidate Forum on Thursday, April 27, 2017 for the upcoming City Council and School Board elections.
The event will be held at the Green Barn Civic Center in Fairfield, Texas beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Candidates have been invited for Fairfield City Council, Teague City Council and Wortham School Board.
Freestone County Times is hosting the event; Editor Karen Leidy will serve as moderator.
After a brief introduction of the candidates, questions will be asked of each individual running for office. Challengers will have an opportunity to respond, as well.

Time permitting, questions may be taken from the audience, as well.
