WORKING TO REPAIR SINK HOLES on Oak Street are City of Fairfield employees Randy Measles, Mark Taylor, Dustin Duncan, Cooper Blackwell, and Collin Puckett.
Public Works Director Clyde Woods explains that the holes are situated over a sewer line that was installed about ten years ago.
Repairs consist of installing screenings and white rock fill to stop further sinking.
Work will continue from FM 488 to Highway 84; and is projected to be finished by the end of February, weather permitting.
