Cindy Ford Duncan lost her courageous fight with cancer on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 9, 1943.

Cindy was a loving and caring woman. She enjoyed craft work, ceramics, painting and quilting. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. She loved church and insured her children were in church too.

Her goal in life was to be the best wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she could be and she exceeded that goal.

She is preceded by parents Lloyd A and Margaret Telford Ford; sister Dorothy Pinnell; brother Lloyd A. Ford Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lavon Harold Duncan; children Melisa D. Cannon, Harold Lee Duncan; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Cannon, Thomas Doyle (Tad) Cannon III, Dustin Alexander Duncan and wife Ciara, Riley Nichole Duncan; two great grandchildren, Alaina and Pepper Mae Duncan, all of Fairfield; sister Kay Condren and husband Dr. Howard Condren of Miami, Oklahoma; brother in law Dr. John Duncan and wife Dr. Marjy Duncan of Norman, Oklahoma; sister in law Sandra Ford of Bryan.

Visitation was held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial followed at Fairfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tad Cannon, Dustin Duncan, Collin Pucket, Chris Robinson, Lloyd A. Ford Jr. (Trey), Paul Pinnell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
