“When I came to Crockett two years ago, the sense of connection with my patients and colleagues was instant,” said Natalie Bachynsky, FNP-C, RN. “I was empathetic about the challenges our patients faced accessing health care and establishing trusting relationships with their health care providers. When the news about the clinic and hospital closure was announced, there were many uncertainties about the future, but staying in Crockett to serve this community was never in question for me. There is such a sense of relief and joy knowing that CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System has come alongside us to provide the excellent, compassionate care that our community needs and deserves.”
“We have been treating cardiology patients in the Crockett area for some time through Cardiovascular Associates of East Texas and the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital – Tyler, and we are excited to be able to be a part of restoring health care services in this area,” said Hector Ceccoli, M.D., FACC, Cardiovascular Associates of East Texas. Dr. Ceccoli first began practicing medicine in Crockett 17 years ago when he moved to the city, and has continued to visit patients there in the years since. “We are committed to providing industry leading cardiac services in Crockett, but this is more than a business decision for me and for us. Crockett is where I began my career, and I have a deep respect and appreciation for the area and the community – I owe them a lot.”
“The mission of our organization is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. It is very simple, but it means so much. It guides our choices and direction in all that we do,” said Scott Smith, M.D., Senior Vice President and Institute Chief of Primary Care for CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. “Our Mission and our values is who we are as a System – and our strategy is how we enact that mission. Our strategy is to make our communities healthier and help people gain access to exceptional health care services, primary care services, close to home. Primary care is the front lines of keeping people healthy in a community, so ensuring access to primary care is vital. Helping to build healthy communities is our strategy across every area touched by CHRISTUS Health – here in Crockett, across Northeast Texas and beyond. Driven by our mission, this strategy is not just about bricks and mortar, but about the hands that heal and the spirit of service.”
