The “Train of Hope” fundraiser continues this year with tickets sales for a raffle.
Win gift certificates and / or merchandise from local small businesses.
Tickets are $1 each, or $5 for 6 tickets. Tickets will be sold through October.
All proceeds go toward our elderly in need during Christmas, including:
–Christmas snack packs for the residents of nursing homes.
–Elderly veterans (Something is being designed for them). Veterans are often forgotten, but they fought hard battles for our country.
–Meals delivered to those that are home bound in Freestone County and specifically those two senior complexes in Fairfield.
–Blessing bas (non-food necessities).
Fundraiser is organized by Lisa Underhill. Tickets are also available from Julee Emmons at Armadillo Emporium.
