The people of Donie and the surrounding are invited to experience “Christmas in Donie.” It begins on Sunday, December 17th as First Baptist Church of Donie welcomes Don Thornton in a concert of Christmas music. That service will begin at 11:00 am.
Christmas in Donie will continue on Christmas Eve with a special morning worship service at 11:00 am and then the church will host the Eleventh Annual Candlelight Christmas Eve service on at 5:30 pm. The service will include music, a reading of the Christmas story, a gift for the children, and a candlelight time of reflection.
The Candlelight Christmas Eve service will begin at 5:30 pm. The community of Donie and its surrounding neighbors are invited to come and join us for this special time of worship. There will be something for the whole their families, so come and join in this celebration of Christmas.
