Thank you, for a Special Day
December 18th was a Great day at the Fairfield Senior Center. It was the day of our Annual Christmas Dinner and gift exchange. Lots of excellent food and fun shared with people who have become one big family.
Sherry Austin our Administrative Assistant/Meals on Wheels Coordinator was absent that day, we sure missed her!
Then there is Stephanie Stephenson, the Project Director, always smiling and helpful.
Darlene Hall (cook) her desserts are awesome.
Virginia Schoeneberg, another great cook, her beef tips and rice WOW!
Then there is Daniel Collins, who keeps us all laughing near tears daily. He is the heavy lifter and keeps me in stitches.
Pamela Dechaume, who graciously donates her time to clean up after all of us.
Each one of these people all have a special personality that enriches our lives, not to mention excellent meals.
Freestone County is very blessed to have this senior center and the people who operate it. You can’t find a greater team of people. They each have a true servant’s heart.
I especially want to thank EVERYONE who participated in helping us bless them.
