FHS Senior (2018) and Eagle Scout Christ Fulcher received a “Friends of Scouting” Scholarship in the amount of $5,000.

Chris attained the rank of Eagle Scout and membership in the Order of the Arrow (Honorary Scout Society) during high school.

“I am thankful for the support that I received from Rev. Paul Kethley and FUMC at Fairfield during my Scouting experience,” says Chris. “I am also thankful for the support that Mr. James Monks and FUMC at Teague game to me,” he adds.

“I have been inspired by generous people like Mrs. Earline Swain and others who have provided scholarships at FHS; I want to be like them and give back,” Chris explains.

Chris and his family have established the “Chris Fulcher Eagle Scout Scholarship.” This will be a re-occurring scholarship given to encourage youth participation in Scouting, encourage adult leadership in Scouting, and recognize worthy Scout seniors in their community.
