The Fairfield Band Boosters presents their first annual Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Fairfield Junior High Commons Area.
Proceeds will benefit the award-winning Grand Band from Eagle Land.
Entry fee is $10 per pot; admission is $5.
Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as Overall and People’s Choice winners.
Chili check-in is at 2:00 p.m., with judging starting at 3:00 p.m. People’s Choice tasting will start at 3:30 p.m.
All entries must be fully cooked in a crock pot or roaster. There must be enough for at least 24 servings.
Entries must indicate mild, medium or hot.
Also, entrants must state what type of meat is used. Beans and veggies are allowed.
Freestone County Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America will perform a Presentation of Colors in honor of our Veterans.
