Julian Jefferson, originally charged in the killing of Fairfield woman Denise Lissette Ramos back in May of 2024, and formally indicted by a grand jury on a charge of Capital Murder, attended his Arraignment Hearing last week where he pled ‘Not Guilty’ to the charge.

Jefferson was extradited from Federal Custody, where he was being held on another matter, and is now in Freestone County Custody.

The Texas Attorney General’s office is handling the prosecution on this case.
