Three candidates have put their hat in the ring so far for Council and Trustee positions.

Potential candidates have just two weeks remaining to file in the upcoming City and School Elections. Filing ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14th.

Election is set for Saturday, May 3, 2025. Early Voting will start Tuesday, April 22nd.

–Fairfield ISD – 3 At-Large Trustee positions (Kim Whitaker, Penny Meredith, and Ashlee Daniel)

At press time, incumbent Penny Meredith is the only candidate that has filed for election.

–Wortham ISD – 2 Trustee positions: Place 3 (Brent Jones) and Place 4 (Sam Wright)

To date, no candidates have filed.

–City of Fairfield – 3 Positions: Place 3 (Previously Bobby Nichols, currently vacant), Place 4 (Roger Keeton), and Place 5 (Angela Oglesbee)

As of press time, only one candidate has filed, incumbents: Roger Keeton, Place 4.
