For the fourth year in a row, the Freestone County Times will host a Candidate Forum to assist voters in making the best choices for their communities.
Teague
First, on Thursday, March 21st, a Candidates Forum will be held at the Community Center at 515 Main Street in downtown Teague, Texas.
Candidates for Teague City Council are invited to attend.
Assistant Editor Megan Hempel will serve as moderator.
Fairfield
Then, on Thursday, March 28th, a Candidates Forum will be held at the Green Barn Civic Center at the fairgrounds in Fairfield, Texas.
Candidates for Fairfield City Council are invited to attend.
Editor Karen Leidy will serve as moderator.
Event Info
Each Candidate Forum will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Important Election Dates
Thursday, April 4, 2019 is the last day to register to vote in time to cast a ballot in the upcoming School Board and City Council Elections.
First day for Early Voting in person is Monday, April 22, 2019.
Tuesday, April 23, 2019 is last day to apply for Ballot by mail.
Election Day for City Council and School Board is Saturday, May 4, 2019.
