Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield is excited to announce their Wednesday night student ministries will now include kindergarten through 6th grade students.
A special ‘kickoff’ event will take place on Wednesday, November 18th, at 6:30 pm in the church’s Life Center. This will be an opportunity for students and parents to register and get to know the CBSM staff. Student information pertaining to address, age, grade, contact information and any medical conditions or allergies will be documented.
The evening will also include games and food for those attending and parents will be able to view the Life Center and learn about the activities that will be taking place. Each Wednesday night will consist of fellowship time from 6 pm until 6:30 pm when students will then have an opportunity to enjoy a light meal. Classes will begin at 7 pm and end at 8 pm.
“We have been having our CBSM activities for 7th through 12th grades for some time now,” youth minister David Skinner stated. “We just needed to wait until the time was right to bring our younger students back. We as a church are excited to be able to get back to teaching these young students about the gift of Jesus Christ and continue to teach them the gospel.”
Due to the holiday schedule involving school activities, there will be three additional Wednesday night events before the end of the year. Those will occur on Wednesday, December 2nd, Wednesday, December 9th and Wednesday December 16th. Both will begin at 6 pm and end at 8 pm.
“Students from surrounding communities are welcome to attend these events as they have in recent years” stated Calvary’s youth minister. For more information, call 903.389.2613. Calvary Baptist Church is located at 220 E. Main in Fairfield.
