An abundance of Christmas music favorites will be presented by the adult choir of Calvary Baptist Church a week from this Sunday morning.
The choir has been practicing weekly since September in preparation for this Christmas musical created by Dennis and Nan Allen. The story of Jesus’ birth will be told through narration and some of the most beautiful arrangements will be sung throughout the performance by Calvary’s choir.
Songs of the musical include ‘The First Noel’, ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’, ‘He Has Come for Us’, ‘Mary Was the First One to Carry the Gospel’, ‘What Child Is This’, ‘Angels From the Realms of Glory’, ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’, ‘Angels We Have Heard on High’, ‘Noel’, ‘O Holy Night!’, and ‘The King of Who I Am’.
“We look forward to this wonderful time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior by worshiping Him with music and song, stated Shelby Race, Music and Education Minister at Calvary. “We would love to see our sanctuary filled with people to watch this performance. It is an excellent time to invite someone to attend with you, who may not know Jesus as their personal savior. Come one and come all, regardless of your church affiliation. Our Calvary family would love to share this time with you.”
