Freestone County has several events in the works this Fall that would make for a perfect venue for local vendors.

Here are a few to consider:

 

National Night Out
Oct. 1

The annual National Night Out event, sponsored by Fairfield Police Association, the City of Fairfield, and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Organizations are welcome to set up a tent to play games, do giveaways, and hand out treats.

Health and Wellness Fair
Oct. 11

Freestone Medical Center will host their annual Health and Wellness Fair on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The Health Fair includes free flu shots (while supplies last), local health and wellness vendors, raffles, and treats for attendees.

All vendor tables are fee and electricity is available.

Big T Memorial BBQ Cookoff
Oct. 18-19

Got something fun to sell?

Organizers of the 2024 Big T Memorial Cookoff weekend is looking for all the good stuff: candy, crafts, ice cream, hats, t-shirts, boutique items, jewelry, etc.

The 2-day event will take over the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.

Booth fees are $35, but may be waived for churches, non-profits, and Lemonade Day participants.

Any trailers must be self-contained.

Limited electricity is available on the grounds.

Food vendors approved on a case-by-case basis, with limited availability.

Parkfest
Oct. 26

Teague’s annual Parkfest is being held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the 8th Ave Park.

The full-day event includes games, food and live entertainment. In the works so far include a BBQ Cookoff, Bike & Car Show, Volleyball and Cornhole tournaments, Halloween Costume Contests, and more!

Deadline is October 1st to sign up as a vendor. Cost is $25 per space.

Some electricity is available. Bring extension cords.

Special spaces for food vendors, but these are limited.

Parkfest is hosted by Teague Chamber of Commerce.

Boo! On the Square
Oct. 30

Businesses, organizations, churches or individuals are invited to set up for giveaways, games or treats for the little one during Fairfield’s annual Boo! On the Square on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

There is no vendor fee for this event.

Set up starts on the Freestone County courthouse square at 4:00 p.m.

Tents must be weighted down (no stakes allowed on the lawn).

Tents are not required.
