There will be lots to do this Easter weekend in Fairfield, with egg hunts, live music and sunrise services.
EGGSTRAVAGANZA
Make an Easter hat, and join the parade.
Play the Bunny Trail, and take home a live bunny.
There will be heaps and leaps of fun at the annual EGGSTRAVAGANZA on the courthouse lawn this year.
Join the City of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce in celebrating Easter with family fun on Saturday, April 15th.
Event will kick off beginning at 10:00 a.m. with kid’s activities, including:
–Bunny Trail
–Easter Egg Dye
–Hat Makers booth
–Face Painting
–Balloons with Willy Nilly the Clown
Don’t miss the Egg Hunts, starting at 11:00 a.m. There will be one hunt per age group (2 & Under, 3-4 years, 5-8 years, and 9 & Up).
The inaugural Hat Parade will kick off at 11:30 a.m. Be sure to bring your camera to catch all the smiles.
Get ready to laugh with the Hula Hoop Contest, beginning at 12:00 noon.
While you’re there, be sure to visit with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy some cotton candy.

RESURRECTION CELEBRATION
Live music featuring Tin Top Road will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield on Saturday, April 15th.
The event, which includes a FREE fish fry, games, pie baking contests and crafts, will be in full swing from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Calvary Baptist Church is located at 220 E. Main Street (within walking distance of the courthouse square).
BASIC SURVIVAL CLASS
Join Local Game Wardens and State Park Staff to learn the basics of outdoor survival, from fire-building to first aid and much more.
Outdoor Survival Basics will be held at Fairfield Lake State Park on Saturdays at the Dining Hall from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The 2-hour classes will focus on a specific wilderness skill to prepare you for a variety of challenges.
–April 15th – Shelter / SOS
All classes are for ages 10 and up. Free park entry available for class.

EASTER EXPOSITION
The 6th annual Easter Exposition will be held Sunday, April 16th at Ricker of Life Church in Fairfield.
An outdoor service, under the circus tent, will get underway at 11:00 a.m., followed by a FREE Easter lunch.
Easter Egg Hunts will begin at 2:00 p.m. (rain or shine). Both kids and adults are invited to join in the fun.
Over 10,000 eggs will be up for grabs, with a chance to win up to $500, if you find one of the lucky ones.
Door prizes will also be given away at this Easter event.
