On September 12, 2024, the Fairfield Public Library hosted a distinguished book signing and meet-and-greet event featuring Travis Canady, a local author and the founder and CEO of Standalone Publishing. Mr. Canady has recently been on an extensive promotional tour, making appearances on KLAX ABC Channel 31, KETX NBC Channel 56, and the talk show “The Vine” on CBS, in addition to several radio stations including KNES Texas 99.1 FM, KLVQ 94.5 FM, and KYYK 98.3 FM. The event saw a significant turnout of fans and family members who came to support and celebrate Mr. Canady’s recent achievements. His debut novel, “Augustine: Echoes of Freedom,” published by Standalone Publishing, achieved the #2 position in Amazon’s New Hot Releases category in its first week and subsequently ascended to the #1 spot in the Historical Fiction (Civil War Era) category, earning Mr. Canady the title of #1 Bestselling Author.

As a special gesture, Mr. Canady gifted his upcoming novel, “Joseph & Elizabeth: The Parish Family Legacy,” a prequel to the bestselling “Augustine: Echoes of Freedom,” to the first ten guests. This highly anticipated prequel is set for release on November 1, 2024, coinciding with the premiere of his new faith-based podcast and television show, “Tales of Tenacity,” produced by Rogue Media Network in Waco, TX.

Mr. Canady has announced plans for future book signing and meet-and-greet events, much to the delight of his growing fanbase.
