Parkview Regional Hospital announced that Robert Launikitis, M.D., has joined its staff and will be offering orthopedic surgical services to patients in Mexia and the surrounding East Texas region. Dr. Launikitis, a Texas native, is the first surgeon to join Parkview Regional Hospital this year as the hospital continues to grow its primary care and surgical services.

This expertise will be important as Parkview Regional Hospital works to make our community healthier.”
Dr. Launikitis has practiced medicine in The Woodlands, Texas at Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and later founded Rock Orthopedic and Hand Center. Prior to that Dr. Launikitis worked in the medical field in Bryan and Galveston, Texas. He also practices at Parkview’s sister facility, Palestine Regional Medical Center. Collectively He has more than 14 years of experience, with a strong background in general orthopedics and special interest in hand, upper extremity, and sports medicine.
