Billie Jean Carter, 65 of Fairfield, Texas passed from this life on Monday evening, March 18, 2019 with family members by her side. She was born July 19, 1953 in Austin, Texas to Marvin and Margaret Pirtle. Billie enjoyed riding horses and was a member of the Streetman Riding Club. She also enjoyed fishing, sitting around bonfires and riding motorcycles. She loved growing roses. Billie treasured her grandbabies and her family the most. She was a simple lady and loved the country life. She is preceded in death by her parents, baby daughter Trish Lynette Spiller, cousin Al Grace and children’s father, Ronny Spiller. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Ronny Wayne Spiller Jr. and wife Patty, Brian Lynn Spiller, Karrie LeAnne Spiller. Grandchildren, Michael Anthony Spiller, Michael Aaron Spiller, Ryan Lynn Spiller, Cody Spiller, Rudy Joe Vasquez, Katlin Marie Vasquez, Donovan Antonio Vasquez, Trisha Ann Vasquez, Carter Wayne Spiller, Lucas Kent Spiller. Sisters, Linda Jonassen and husband Dale, Shirley Lewis. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Special aunt Lawanda Myers. Visitation was Friday, March 22, 2019 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside service were Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Pallbearers will be Randy Pullin, Tommy Robertson, David Knight, Chris Knight, Michael Spiller, and John Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Carter Spiller and Lucas Spiller.
