Bill David White, resident of League City, Texas, formerly of Fairfield, passed away August 2l, 2019. Services was held Saturday, August 24, at the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel in Dierks, Arkansas with visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 and funeral following with Bro. Tommy Mounts officiating. Interment followed at Dierks cemetery. Pall bearers were nephews Brian White, Karl White, Keith McCullough, Kenneth McCullough, Danny White, Phillip White, Patrick House, and Ray White. Honorary pall bearers were Phil Walston, Dal Colvin, Glen Turner, Cary Powe, and Randy Mitchael. Special music was provided by niece, Darby Wall.

Bill was born April 3, 1946 in Merced, California, being the 7th of 12 children born to Grace and Ollie White. He graduated from Dierks High School and Henderson State University with a BSBA degree and did some post grad work at Texas A&M. He worked for 40 years in the insurance business retiring as agency manager of Texas Farm Bureau in Fairfield, Texas.


Left to cherish his memory is a loving wife of 51 years, Peggy; a daughter, Lisa and husband Josh Lisinicchia of Galveston, Texas and son Jonathan White and wife Shana of Broomfield, Colorado, four precious grandchildren whom he adored, Leonardo and Stefano Lisinicchia, and Wesley and Charlotte White.


Bill is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters families: Joe White of Texarkana, Charles White and wife Ruth, James White and wife LaVaughn, Mary McCullough, Wayne White and wife Ginger all of Dierks, Linda House and husband Billy, Dot Blankenship of Horatio, Arkansas, R.L. White and wife Marcia of Pine Bluff, Bobbie Lovell and husband Dale of Bismarck, and Gracie Herrington and husband Morris of Texarkana, as well as a grand host of nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack White, nephews Jimmy White, Dwayne House, Jake Freeman, Chris White, and one niece Kay Shuffit. Bill was an amazing and honorable man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
