The Big T Memorial may have had to pause their State Championship Cookoff this year, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have a BIG event!
The Big T’s Family Bash will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the WL Moody Fairgrounds in Fairfield, Texas.
Scheduled for the day include:
–Touch-A-Truck: from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cost is $5 per person or $20 max per family.
–Kids Cookoff Challenge: 10:00 a.m. registration & set up, 11:00 a.m. start cooking, and Noon turn in. Cost is $25 per entry. Divisions are 8-11 yrs., 12-15 yrs., and 16-18 yrs. Prizes given for First through Third Place. All ages will be cook’s choice.
–BBQ Lunch Sale: 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (or until sold out)
–Halloween Pet Show: 12:30 p.m., guest judge John Thorne
Awards and announcement of raffle winners to follow the Kids Cookoff Challenge.
All Things Arty TX will be on hand for some awesome face painting, and The Coffee Nook will be there offering some yummy drinks.
All proceeds from this event benefit individuals with special needs on the local area.
Golden Circle Special Needs Association has given more than $30,000 yearly to schools and programs in Freestone, Limestone, Leon, Anderson, and Navarro Counties.
