Demolition of Forty-Year Freestone County Icon
The BOOM heard around the county on Sunday afternoon, April 25, 2021 marked the official end of an era as the stacks at the former Big Brown Power Plant were imploded by demolition crews.
Commercial Liability Partners, INC (CLP) bought the decommissioned coal-fired plant just over a year ago.
CLP’s core business is the acquisition, management, and closure of large, heavy industrial sites, chemical plants, multi-site portfolios, and closed power plants.
