The Seminar will be held on Monday, October 29th at the Pridgeon Community Center, 351 Cooks Lane in Franklin. The cost for the program, meal, handouts, etc. will be $50.00. Registration will begin at 7:00am with the program to begin at 7:30am and conclude at 3:00pm. Seven CEU’s will be offered with the first five hours covering all requirements for Commercial License Holders. The hours include – 2 General, 3 Laws & Regulations, 1 IPM and 1 Drift.
Speakers and topics will include: “Updates on TDA Pesticide Laws & Regulations” –Mr. Richard Parrish; “Brush and Weed Control” –Dr. Larry Redmon; “Controlling Pesticide Drift” –Mr. Floyd Ingram; “Forage Insects & their Control” –Dr. Sonja Swiger; “Grassbur Control” –Mr. James Jackson; and “Feral Hog Control -What’s legal and what’s not” –Mr. Cooper Terrill.
