Motivated by a desire to help, the Fairfield Baseball & Softball Community stepped up to the plate.
A donation table was set-up at the entrance of the complex on Tuesday, March 30th, where both varsity teams had home games and Little League games were also taking place.
A portion of concession sales were also donated. Coach Kerry Hand, Coach Nicole Crawford, and Ashlee Daniel organized and advertised the event.
Approximately $3,300 was raised to be granted to the family of Fallen Trooper Chad Walker from Limestone County.
