On Saturday, August 12, 2017, Caney Baptist Church will be hosting a Back-To-School Bash for Freestone County children, ages Kindergarten thru 6th grades. Each child will receive a free backpack filled with the school supplies they need for their specific grade. The Back-To-School Bash will run from 10 am to 2 pm.

Plus, let us help get your student ready for school with health and wellness screenings on site. Dr. Brent Moore will be giving Dental Hygiene checks. Healthcare Screenings will be available from the Freestone Medical Center. Gold Eye Clinic will be giving Vision Screenings. Free haircuts will also be available.

Local volunteer fire departments will be giving Fire Safety tips and ideas.

The kids will also have lots of fun with water activities, so be sure to bring a swim suit and towel.

Treats like snow cones and popcorn will be available; and lunch will be served.

To round out the activities, a ventriloquist, Mrs. Frieda Sinclair and her friend Willie Joe will entertain the kids and parents with an inspiring message about God’s love, plus they’re pretty funny too!

The event is completely free of charge, but parents are required to accompany their children.

This event is for kids in Kindergarten thru 6th grade. The child must attend all events, beginning at 10:00 a.m., to receive a backpack and supplies. Parents must be present.

On Sunday morning, during the 11:00 a.m. service, Evangelist Larry Sinclair with bring the message. Children are invited to attend with their backpacks where Pastor Brother Don Vail will give a blessing of the backpack for the upcoming school year.
