Palestine Community Theatre (PCT) announces its 2018-2019 Season, a new membership year, and calls for actors and actresses to fly away to Neverland to begin this new Season. Auditions for the Summer production of “Peter Pan” will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10 AM at the historic Texas Theatre in downtown Palestine, 213 W. Crawford.

Director, Chaundra Dantin, and Assistant Director, Gabrielle Dantin Folmar, invite adults and boys AND girls ages 8 and up to come out and join the cast or crew. A live pit ensemble will also be used for this production, so instrumentalists wishing to participate should come to auditions and speak with the Music Director, Haley Cook. Performances will be July 27-29 and August 3-5.

The rest of the 2018-2019 Season will be filled with comedy and music with Elvis has Left the Building (comedy) in October 2018, Gift of the Magi: the Musical in December 2018, and Gilligan’s Island (musical) during Dogwood Trails 2019.

Tickets for all shows are $15 for adults and $10 for students ages 4 to 18 and will be available locally at the Chamber of Commerce, the Visitor Center, Blake Furniture, and Discount Pools approximately one month before opening night or earlier online at PCT’s website, www.thetexastheater.com/ticket-info.html.
