Community Sunrise Service at Donie’s First Baptist Church
This Easter Sunday, First Baptist Church of Donie will sponsor a Community-Wide Easter Sunrise Service at 7:30 am, April 21. The service will be held outdoors at the Donie Community Center, weather permitting. If the weather is inclement, the service will move into the Community Center. The service is open to all who live in and around Donie.
Immediately following the Sunrise Service, the church will host a breakfast for the community. It will start shortly after 8:00 am. There is no charge for any of the activities and it is open to all. First United Methodist of Fairfield Hosts Several Services
Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian year. Come celebrate it on Sunday, April 21st, with the First United Methodist Church at 201 N. Mount Street, Fairfield, TX.
The Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. (Memorial Park next to the church parking lot) will be conducted by the youth with Matt Mooneyham bringing the message. Following that service, the United Methodist Men will serve breakfast in the church Fellowship Hall for all to enjoy.

Easter Musical at Calvary Baptist
The adult choir of Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield will be performing their annual Easter musical this coming Sunday morning at 10:45 am.
‘Victor’s Crown: A Musical for Easter’ will feature six different songs during the morning worship service.’ Songs to be performed are ‘Our God Reigns’, ‘Crown Him With Many Crowns’, ‘Victor’s Crown’, ‘Ten Thousand Angels’, ‘Christ Arose Medley’ and ‘God Leads Us Along’.
“These are some of the most beautiful songs we’ve every performed in a musical”, music and education minister Shelby Race stated. “They will truly tell the Easter story through the words of the songs and we would be excited to have guests from our community to join us for this special musical and worship service. You will be blessed and the Lord will be exalted through this presentation.’
