Since 2015, Freestone County Times has set aside the month of April as a time to recognize the “Everyday Heroes” in our community.
We started with First Responders, such as firefighters, law enforement and Emergency Medical Services.
Following the pandemic shutdown, we extended that to include all medical personnel, as well as teachers, delivery workers, sanitation crews, and anyone else who went above and beyond to serve the people of their hometowns.
This week’s print edition, and next, includes “Thank You” ads from local businesses and organizations for all the Heroes who make Freestone County a great place to live.
We hope our readers will join in as well, in expressing their appreciation to all of our Everyday Heroes, in whatever capacity they serve.
