Once again, it’s time for the annual memorial at the Antioch Cemetery of the Turlington Community. Anyone with ties or interests in the Antioch Cemetery, please join us as we gather on Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 am for a time of remembrance held at the Antioch Baptist Church (198 FM 1364, Fairfield, TX – about 8 miles east of Fairfield). There will be a brief business meeting at 11:00 with a devotional service following. A potluck dinner will be held in the Antioch Baptist Church fellowship hall after the devotional. Please bring enough food for your family and others. Ice and paper goods will be provided.

In recent years, attendance at our memorial services has quietly declined. Yet this meaningful gathering is so much more than a moment to tend to the cemetery grounds—it is a time to honor and remember the loved ones who came before us and who now rest in this sacred place. Many of those who once led the way have passed on, and now the responsibility—and privilege—of carrying on this tradition belongs to us. It’s time for the next generation to step forward, preserve this legacy, and ensure that the memory of our family endures.

If you unable to attend and wish to send a donation, please make them to the Antioch Cemetery Association of Turlington, C/O Martha Thompson, 120 Private Rd. 528, Fairfield, TX 75840. If you have any questions or wish to have your name and address added to the mailing list please contact Linda Mullen, secretary, 903-390-4176. Our 990N is current and for tax purposes our EIN # is 87-1068854.
