Anthony Cubb M.D., 71, passed away May 6th, 2020 at his beloved ranch in Mexia, TX. Per his wishes, there will be no formal services.
Dr. Cubb or Tony as many knew him, was a hardworking man who took immense pride in his career as a physician and his role as a father. He continued to provide care for patients near and far up until his passing and was the first to offer a helping hand in times of need. As a father, throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to assure that all his children pursued advanced degrees and cemented in them the importance of hard work and perseverance. He had only just begun his journey as a grandfather and embraced this role with his whole heart. He was quite the talker who enjoyed striking up conversations with all and could chat for hours at a moment’s notice. He took so much pleasure and pride in working outside and fixing things with his own hands. Some of his happiest times were spent maintaining his ranch, which had always been a life-long dream of his.
He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Lorena Cubb; his three daughters: Janice, Trisha, and Ashley; his son, Michael; and his two grandchildren who brought so much joy to his life. He is also survived by numerous sisters, brothers, nephews, and nieces.
