Anel Grayson, 93, formerly of Freestone County, died Friday, August 6, 2021 at her home in the Elmwood Community near Palestine.
Graveside services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2021 at St. Elmo Cemetery, next to New Hope Baptist Church or FM 416 in Freestone County with Bro. Ed Ridge officiating.
Mrs. Grayson was born April 4, 1928 in Dallas to parents Lyle Adair and Florelle Braly Bryan. Mrs. Grayson was a Freestone County resident for a number of years before relocating and was a former member of Round Prairie Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Thomas and a grandson, John Donald Wright.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Manuell, two children, Gloria Wright and husband Melvin of Gatesville, TX; John F. McMinn, Jr. of Elmwood Community near Palestine, TX; seven grandchildren, Shannon Frantz, Shelley Wright, Lyle Wright, Leah Marie McMinn, Holly Francis McMinn, Jordan Casey McMinn, Kelly Austin McMinn. Fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
