Thirty teams, plus some individual shooters, competed in the Fifth Annual Sporting Clays Shoot this past weekend.

Proceeds from the event benefit scholarships and area youth.

Scholarship applications are due this week, and the money raised will go toward the scholarships to seniors from Freestone, Limestone, and Leon Counties.

This was Brock’s second year in a row to win.

The long bird was a cash pot. Trey donated the majority of his winnings back to the foundation.
