Stop Forced Annexation was successful in acquiring the required number of signatures to add a proposition to the November ballot that will allow voters to decide if they should have a say in annexation.
The non-profit group delivered their gathered signatures to County Commissioners at the June 27th meeting of Commissioners Court.
Following proper canvassing and validation of signatures by the County Clerk’s office, Commissioners voted unanimously to add the proposition to the November ballot during their July 11th meeting.
The Stop Forced Annexation group achieved their goal.
