Abigail Bristow of Fairfield, and Jacob Fisher of Mexia, are recipients of the 2017 American Legion Kirby Hyden Scholarship presented by American Legion Post 288.
Abigail is the daughter of Chris and Lisa Bristow of Fairfield; and Jacob is the son of Tom and Rosie Fisher of Mexia.
Both are planning to attend Baylor University, with Abigail pursuing a teaching degree and Jacob a business degree. Both are homeschooled students.
