On August 4th, 5th, and 6th, Teague and surrounding communities will welcome the BTW/JA Brooks Alumni Association. They will be celebrating the 18th Reunion by members who attended the two schools.
The theme is “Continuing the Generational Legacy of Excellence.”
Schedule of Events: Friday, August 4: Registration: 4:00-6:00 p.m.; Dinner: 6:00-7:30 p.m.; followed by a “Fabulous Hat & Cap Show.” Saturday, August 5, a parade at 11:00 a.m. Line up time 10:00 a.m. at Teague City Park on 8th St. All modes of transportation are invited to participate (Bicycles, AT V’s, Cars Trucks, Floats, Animals, etc).
If your float or entry is PURPLE or GOLD you will line up in a special order. An Indoor Picnic will follow the parade.
A banquet celebrating the 50th anniversary of the class of 1967 will be held at 7:00 pm. on Sunday, August 6th, and at 11:00 a.m. a Memorial Service and election of officers.
All events except the parade will be at the Teague High School campus, courtesy of the Teague Independent School District.
